6 eggs
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. crisco
grated lemon peel (optional)
powdered sugar
fillings (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco and sugar.
Add eggs and beat together
Mix flour and baking powder; then mix into the cream mixture with a fork until light dough is formed. Drop a teaspoon of dough into small bowl of powder sugar and roll into powdered sugar and roll into ball. Place on foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 8 min.
Cookies can be eaten as is or create sandwich cookies with your favorite fillings. Spring with powdered sugar.
