1 c. sugar
2 T. corn starch
pinch of salt
2. c. boiling water
4 T. butter
4 T. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Grated lemon rind

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and corn starch. Add boiling water and pinch of salt. Boil until thick and clear. Beat in butter, lemon juice and nutmeg. Grated lemon rind may be added if desired. Store in refrigerator.

Make gingerbread muffins using a mix. When ready to make dessert, cut a wedge out of the top of each muffin (it will look like a clown hat when turned upside down.) Add lemon sauce filling to the hole and place wedge upside down on top. You have made Omi's clown dessert.
