1 cup crisco

3 cup sugar

1-1/2 sticks of butter

5 large eggs

1 cup milk

3-1/2 cups cake flour

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. lemon extract(can use almond instead of lemon)

Directions:

cream shorting,butter,sugar together till fluffy add eggs one at a time then add milk and then add flour and extract

bake at 325 for 1 3/4 hour
in a greased and floured tube pan
