1 lb ground meat
1/2 lb mushrooms, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 t cooking oil
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 lb can whole tomatoes
1/2 lb cottage cheese
butter
1/4 t oregano
1 t sugar
1/2 t salt
pepper
1 bay leaf
1/4 t paprika
dash of cayenne pepper
1 lb wide noodles
1 Mozzarella cheese
1.4 c Parmesan
1 can tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute ground meat, chopped mushroom, garlic, onion, green pepper, and celery in oil until lightly browned.
Put in sauce pan and pour in tomato sauce and tomatoes.
Season with oregano, salt, pepper to taste, bay leaf, paprika and cayenne pepper.
Cover and cook 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Boil lasagna noodles.
Line bottom of oiled baking dish with noodles, then mozzarella, then meat sauce.
Add another layer of noodles, etc.
On last layer, add cottage cheese and meat and top with noodles.
Put Parmesan cheese on top, then dot with butter.
Bake at 375º for 30 minutes.
