2 (1 oz) squares of unsweetened chocolate
½ c margarine (not butter)
2 eggs
½ c flour
1 c sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Melt chocolate over hot water, cool. Cream margarine and sugar well. Add eggs and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a buttered 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch pan. Bake at 325ºF for 35 minutes.

Nana's note: I usually double this recipe and use a 9x13 inch pan. Cook same time.
