Ingredients: 2 cups flour.
3 eggs.
2 cups milk.
1 tsp. sugar.
1 tbsp. butter.
1/2 tsp. salt (optional).
Filling: could be, your choice, ground walnuts.
cottage cheese or lekvar.

Directions: |
Directions:Combine sifted flour, sugar & salt in a mixing bowl. Add the whole eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add enough milk to make a thin batter, beat until smooth. Stir in melted butter. Pour some batter into lightly greased skillet. Brown on both sides. Remove from skillet and place on flat surface or flat dish. Once again your choice or use all fillings. Spread cottage cheese or lekvar or ground walnuts on the pancakes, roll up and place in oven at low heat for 5 to 10 minutes to get slightly warmed. Can also use with the ground walnuts sugar to taste and a little bit of ground cinnamon. Spread sour cream on top of pancake and enjoy. |

Notes: Grammy made this dish as a main meal for them on Fridays way back when meat was not allowed to be served on Fridays. FYI: I did not specify how much ground nuts to use, nor lekvar or cottage cheese because you could choose to use all 3 ingredients or just go with one ingredient. You will have to make that call. Also if using ground nuts and you want it to be more moist add a small amount of warm milk and granulated sugar.
