6-8 sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pat butter
1/3 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. little marshmallows
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sweet potatoes in pan with salt added to water. Cook until soft. Let cool, put in deep casserole dish.

Cook 1 pat of butter and water, add brown sugar. Cook until soft ball stage. (Soft ball stage, when a small tsp. full is drizzled in to water will roll into a soft ball).

Layers are; potatoes, sugar and butter mixture, then a layer of marshmallow. Do layers until the casserole dish is full. (5 -6 layers). Put in oven and bake until marshmallows are a light brown. Serve hot!
