1 1/3 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
9 in. baked pie shell

Meringue:

3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir the sugar and cornstarch together in a large size sauce pan. Gradually add and stir 2 cups milk and 3 egg yolks. Add chocolate squares. Cook on high and stir constantly. When it comes to a full boil and thickens, add butter and vanilla. Pour into 9 inch pie shell.

Meringue:

Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 6 tbsp. sugar. Bake for 20 min. at 325º.
