1 can #2 fruit coctail
2 C plain flour
1-1/2 C sugar
2 tsp soda
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C brown sugar
1 C pecans

Topping: 1 stick butter
3/4 C sugar
3/4 C evaporated milk
1 C coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix by hand dry ingredients and add fruit cocktail, add eggs and vanilla. Pour into greased pan (buttered) dusted with flour. Top with brown sugar and sprinkle with pecans. Bake 350 degrees until done (45 minutes).
Topping: Cook until thick, 10-15 minutes and add 1 C coconut. Pour on top of cake.
