Mixed greens/salad mix of your choice
/ 2-3 roma tomatoes (cut for salad)
/ 1 English Cucumber (peeled & sliced)
/ sliced raw mushroom
/ golden (yellow) bell pepper (seeded & sliced thin)
/ small basket fresh strawberries - remove stem, sliced into 4 slices
/ 1 small jar capers w/juice (do not drain)
/ feta cheese (qty to your liking - 8oz/16 oz)
/ optional - dressing - preferably a type of Italian
/ (note: Strawberries & Capes, make it's own dressing combined)

With the exception of the mixed greens/salad mix, mix all other ingredients in a bowl (strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, capers (include juice in jar - do not drain), bell pepper, and mushrooms).

Add to large bowl of salad mix/mixed greens and toss.

Optional: Mixture of Strawberries & Capers w/juice makes it's own dressing. If you prefer more dressing, add non-sweet Italian dressing of your choice (no balsamic - takes away from the flavor of the capers, strawberries & feta).

In searching for a summer salad, I ran across several different "Strawberry Feta - Summer Salads" - I combined all the different salads to make this salad mixture which has flavors that compliment each other. There is a Champagne dressing that I use, but sometimes hard to find, when I make this salad. Enjoy!!
