Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 (1/4 oz.) pkg. RapidRise yeast
3/4 c. warm water
1/8 c. potato flakes, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 3/4 c. of warm water. Sift flour, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Blend in shortening. Mix egg, buttermilk and yeast into the flour. Knead dough for about 30 minutes until dough does not stick to hands. Let rise for 1 hour. Cover with towel while rising.

Make dough into buns or rolls. Cover with a towel and let rise for 1 more hour. Beat 1 egg with 1 teaspoon of water; with a pastry brush, brush over tops of dough before you put in oven. Bake in over at 325º for 25 to 30 minutes until brown.

After cooking, brush tops with butter. Cover with a towel while cooling. After cooling, you can freeze the bread by wrapping one loaf, or about 8 rolls, with Saran Wrap and freeze.

Personal Notes:
I like to cut the loaf bread, butter and fry in a skillet until golden brown.
