1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup white syrup
pinch of salt
vanilla to taste
powdered sugar until stiff enough to form into balls
Maraschino cherries
semi-sweet chocolate

small amount of parawax

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, syrup, salt, vanilla and powdered sugar until stiff enough to form into balls. Put a maraschino cherry in center. Dip balls into melted semi-sweet chocolate to which has been added just enough parawax to make a smooth hard coating.
