1 stick of butter or margarine
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk

Frosting:
1/2 stick butter, melted
2 cups powdered sugar
1/8 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 to 3 Tbsp butter (enough to make creamy)

Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Boil together butter, oil and water. Add rest of batter ingredients. Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes in floured and greased pan (9x13).

Frosting: Melt butter; add to dry ingredients. Add vanilla and enough buttermilk to make creamy. Frost cake after cooled.
