2 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa
2 eggs - slightly beaten
2 c. sifted flour
2 stick margarine
1/2 c. buttermilk (can use regular milk, just add a little vinegar)
1 t. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar and flour in a large bowl. Bring water, margarine and cocoa to a boil, in pan or microwave, then pour over sugar and flour. Mix well. Mix buttermilk, eggs, and soda, add to the mixture. Pour into a greased pan.

Bake at 375º for 30 minutes

About the time cake is done, start frosting. (I usually wait until cake is done)

Frosting
1/3 c. milk
1 stick margarine
4 T. cocoa
Bring to a boil. Then add to below ingredients.
1 box powdered sugar (sometimes takes more to get it thick enough)
1 t. vanilla
1 c. pecans
Pour over cake. Often kind of keep scraping it back to middle until it solidifies>
