1 1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg yeast (Dry)
4 c flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water in large mixing bowl, add yeast. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir to dissolve. Add 1/2 of flour, all of sugar, salt, shortening and egg. Beat mixture on med. speed until smooth. Add rest of lour and stir by hand til flour disappears. Scrape down batter from side. Cover with wax paper. Let rise until double in size (about 1 hour). Put by spoonsful in greased muffin pans. Let rise 20-30 minutes.

425º oven 10-15 minutes
