Ingredients:
1 – 2 pounds of Brussel sprouts (depending on how many people you have)
to taste:
olive oil
kosher salt
cracked pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse, cut the stem off and slice in half.
Let dry in a strainer.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Put in large bowl and drizzle olive oil (just enough to lightly coat them), kosher salt and cracked pepper. Toss them all together and put on a cookie sheet (make sure there is room on the sheet so they are not on top of each other (you might need two sheets). Cook for 20 minutes but check on them half way through and toss them. You will see charred pieces of outer layers once they are done. Don’t throw these out, they are the best part.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This are those rare vegetable dishes that everyone loves. The best parts are the pieces of charred, outer layers that fall out. We always fight over them.
