1 C. Shortening (1/2 C. Margerine & 1/2 C Crisco)
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 C. White Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1 t. Vanilla
1 1/2 C Flour
1 t. Soda
1 t. Salt
3 C. Quick Cooking Oats
1/2 C. Nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Add oatmeal and nuts. Shape into rolls. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. Slice 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheets.
