1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

24 oz sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
To cook cabbage, core, steam & rinse in cold water, then drain in colander. When cool, separate leaves.

Mix uncooked ground beef, onion, rice, salt & pepper together. Spoon 1/4 cup inside a cabbage leaf and roll. If leaves are too large, slice down the middle. Place in a baking pan and cover with foil. Bake at 350 30 minutes.

Sauce:
Melt butter and add flour. Cook until bubbly. Stir in tomato paste and onion. Add beef broth slowly, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Do not let boil. Spoon over cabbage rolls.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
When I make this, I usually roast potatoes and carrots along with the cabbage rolls (separate pans). When serving, pour sauce over all.
