1 c. uncooked grits
4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
4 eggs, beaten
Paprika
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 c, cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring to boil salt and water; stir in grits and follow package directions.
2. Turn off heat. Add butter, milk, garlic powder, and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, mixing well.
3. Let cool so that eggs will not cook when added.
4. Add eggs and pour in a buttered casserole. Sprinkle top with paprika and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool and cut into to squares and serve at room temperature.
