1 cup butter, softened
3 cups white sugar
7 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sour cream
Frosting:
1 4 oz. white chocolate bar
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
6 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Grease and flour 9x13 pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Add to the creamed mixture and mix until all the flour is absorbed. Finally, stir in the sour cream. Mix for 1-2 minutes just to be sure there are no lumps. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated over for 45 tp 60 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean. For Bundt cakes, allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.

Frosting:
Melt white chocolate bar in small heavy saucepan over low heat. Cool Slightly. Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Add white chocolate, beating until blended. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until blended. Stir in vanilla.

This is a very simple moist white cake. It works best if all of the ingredients are at room temperature. It also works well in a Bundt cake pan or for cupcakes.
