Primavera:
1 lb broccoli florets
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced thick
1 large red bell pepper, chopped
1 regular can black olives, sliced
2 cloves fresh garlic
3 Tb olive oil

Pasta:
2 lb dry pasta
1 large pot boiling water
1-2 Tb oil added to water

Alfredo Sauce:
1/3 cup butter (5 Tb)
1 pint cream (room temp)
8 oz Parmesan cheese
course ground pepper




Directions:
Directions:
Prepare all veggies for cooking. In heavy pan, saute broccoli in olive oil. when it gets too dry, add a slight amount of water to pan and cover. Steam, stirring occassionally until broccoli is bright green and crisp-tender. Do not over cook. Add mushrooms and cook until not quite tender. Drain away any excess liquid. Add red bell pepper an dcook just to heat through. Season with salt to taste, then add 2 clover garlic, pressed. Saute very briefly to heat through, then add sliced olives an remove from heat. Do not cover.

Sauce:
Add to hot, drained pasta in pan, the butter, stirring until melted. Stir in cream, then Parmesan cheese, stirring until creamy. Add pepper to taste.
To pasta mixture, add veggies & stir together. Season to taste with more salt or pepper. Serve immediately.
Serves 8-10 people generously.
