1 pint sour cream
1 pound cottage cheese
4 eggs
1 cup sugar (we use ½ turbinado or brown)
2 sticks melted butter
1 cup golden raisins
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 lb cooked egg noodles
½ stick melted butter
3 tbs brown sugar
3 cups corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook egg noodles with a pinch of salt until al dente
2. Mix first seven ingredients in a large mixing bowl
3. Fold in noodles
4. Bake in buttered 13x9 baking pan in a 350º oven for 20 minutes
5. While kugel is cooking, mix last 3 ingredients, partially crushing corn flakes
6. Spread corn flake mixture over kugel
7. Bake additional 25 minutes until golden brown
8. Enjoy!

Technically a casserole, but it's very sweet, so more of a brunch or dessert item.
