1-3/4 sifted all-purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 egg
1/2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 cup cornflakes
1/2 c. quick oats
6 oz. pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Beat: margarine, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in bowl until well blended. Stir in flour mixture alternating with oil until mixture is thoroughly mixed. Stir in corn flakes, oats and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Space 2" apart. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 48 cookies.
