Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 russet potatoes
1/4 c. butter
3-4 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel russet potatoes. Slice very thin (the thinner the better!). Place in a greased casserole pan with a tight fitting lid; leave enough room for them to boil without boiling over. Slice butter over top of potatoes. Pour milk over the potatoes until covered. The 3-4 cups milk is an estimate: make sure the potatoes are all covered in milk. Cover. Place in 375º oven for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. The thinner the slices the faster it'll cook. When potatoes are tender and cooked through remove from oven. Let sit at room temp for 10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste immediately before serving. Delicious served with Sweet and Sour Meatballs and some green beans on a cold winter day!
