1/2 c.oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sour creme
2 egg yolks
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. vanilla, almond and lemon extract
1 t. soda, desolved in 1 T. hot water
1 t. baking powder

creme sugarand oleo, add sour creme, eggs and flour and the rest of dry ingredients

chill over night

optional date filling: 2 c. chopped dates, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. water, 1/2 t. lemon juice - cook over low heat until thick, cool and add 1/2 c. chopped nuts, put in center of 2 cookies an press sides together. bake 350º until golden brown
