2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup warm water
1 pkg onion soup mix
Do not add any salt!

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together thoroughly. Put into loaf pan. Add two strips of bacon if you like that flavor. Pour over all one 8 oz. can tomato sauce. Bake one hour at 350º oven.
Drain off grease, take out of pan and put on plate to serve.

I got this recipe about 30 yrs ago out of the cooking section of the newspaper, have used it ever since. You can even substitute oats for the bread. I like to use ketchup on the top of the meatloaf with some mustard added, instead of the tomato sauce.
