3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 cups sugar
2 sticks butter, softened (don't use margarine)
1/2 cup Crisco oil
5 eggs, room temperature
1 cup whole milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with baking powder; then measure three cups. Cream together butter and sugar. Add oil while continuing to cream. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix vanilla and milk together. While beating, add flour mixture alternately with milk, until all is mixed into sugar/butter mixture.

Pour into a "very" well-greased (solid shortening) 12-cup bundt pan and bake at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Don't open the oven door for at least 1 hour. (May take a little less time depending on oven; test after 1 hour.) Wait 10 minutes after removing from the oven before turning out onto serving platter.
