In glass 1 cup measuring cup put the 3 wet ingredients
1/3 cup melted shortening
1 egg
Milk – enough to make 1 cup

In bowl place 3 dry ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup unsifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
(pinch of salt)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix wet into dry with mixer for 1 min on medium speed
Makes a thin cake batter
Grease & flour an 8 in round or 9 in Square x 2in deep pan
Sprinkle top of cake with sugar and cinnamon when done
Bake 350 degrees for 30 min or toothpick tests clean
