1 cup cashews, raw, soaked in boiling water for 15 minutes
1 cup water (use reserved liquid from soaking cashews)
2 large cloves of garlic, sauteed in 1 T olive oil
2 T lemon juice
1 tsp maple syrup
pinch of cayenne pepper
sea salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, combine all ingredients and blend together except water. Add water in slowly, until mixture is emulsified and creamy.

Store in squeeze bottle and use in place of mayonnaise or other sandwich spreads.

Makes about 2 cups of spread.
