1 1/2 cup Flour (white all purpose)
3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 stick Butter (NO Substitute) room temperature
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Egg

Preheat Oven 375
Lightly grease cookie sheet

In a small bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder. Set aside.
In a separate bowl beat the peanut butter,butter,sugars and vanilla until smooth.
Beat in your egg.
Now take the small bowl with the flour mixture and mix it into the bowl with the peanut butter , sugars, ect. Make sure it is all blended well.
Take a spoon and scoop out cookie dough and form a round ball.
Lay all the balls on your sheet, take a fork and mash the balls making a criss cross(#).
Cook in the center of your oven for 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and as soon as they have cooled enough remove them from the cookie sheet .

I like to use a light colored aluminum cookie sheet. I find that dark colored cookie sheets overcook my cookies.
