1 baked 9" pie crust
1 pint fresh strawberries, whole or sliced
Sauce:
3 Tbsp.cornstarch
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. strawberry jello powder
Directions:
Directions:
Arrange strawberries in baked pie shell. Combine cornstarch, sugar, and water in saucepan. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes or until thickened. Take off heat and add jello powder. Stir until cool. Pour over berries in shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream. You can use this with fresh peaches and add 1 T. lemon juice and 1 T butter when cooking sauce, along with yellow food coloring. (omit jello)
