1 lb. boneless chuck (cut into thin strips)
2 T. finely chopped onion
1 finely chopped garlic clove
2 large green peppers cut into strips
1/2 cup celery sliced crosswise
1/2 cup beef consomme
2 T. cornstarch
3 T. water
1 tsp. soy sauce
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in oil. Add onion, garlic clove, peppers and celery. Add consomme and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes. Blend cornstarch with water and soy sauce then add to meat to thicken. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
