1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1-3/4 cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
In an 9 x 9 inch baking pan, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa. Stir in milk, butter, and nuts (if desired). Mix the 1 c brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa and sprinkle over the top. Pour boiling water over the whole thing. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
