12 oz. pkg. cornbread mix
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1/2 c. canned chicken broth

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together well. Roll into balls and deep fry. Will fry better if balls are refrigerated for an hour prior to frying.
