1 stick softened butter
3/4 C packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla extract
3/4 C flour
3/4 C cocoa powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add the egg and vanilla to the creamed butter and sugar. Blend well. mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another mixing bowl. Add the dry to the wet mixture and blend well.

Spoon the dough onto greased cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes.
