1 cup butter, softened
⅓ cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup chopped pecans
Confectioners' sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the water and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Blend in flour and nuts. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours. Preheat oven to 325ºF. Shape dough into balls and bake on ungreased cookie pan for about 20 minutes. Remove from the pan & cool slightly. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool completely. Re-roll in confectioners' sugar.
