1 15 oz can whole kernel corn
milk
2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
vegetable oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Drain corn water into a measuring cup and add enough milk to the liquid to equal 1 cup. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix together the corn, milk and egg. Add to the dry ingredients and mix briefly. Heat oil in a heavy pot or deep fryer to 375 °F. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden; drain on paper towels. Serve with warm maple syrup.
