1 c. Slow cooked, Steel-cut Oatmeal
3 c. boiling water
1/4 t. salt
Milk or almond flavored creamer (to taste)
Brown sugar or Agave sweetener (to taste)
1/2 c. raspberries and/or 1/2 c. blueberries
1/4 c. almond slivers

Add 1 c. Steel-cut oatmeal and salt to 3 c. boiling water. Boil 12 - 15 min or desired consistency. Divide into bowls. Add milk and brown sugar or agave sweetner. Place berries on top and sprinkle with slivered almonds.

Agave sweetner is a surprisingly yummy healthy alternative to sugar! Also, a small amount of flavored creamers, especially almond, can be a delicious alternative to milk.
