2 pkgs dry yeast
3 c.warm water
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c.sugar or more, if like you rolls sweet
3/4 c.shortening
1 egg
5 to 6 c.flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water.Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, & salt together. Add flour gradually;
Mix well.

Pour alittle flour on flat surface.Knead till all mixed together. Put in greased bowl. Let rise until double. Punch down & let rise again.
Make rolls & let rise again in pan.

Bake @350 for 30 minutes

You can beat 1 egg white & spread on top of rolls the last 10 minutes of baking for a shiny top.

Also, this recipe is good to make cinnamon rolls too.
