1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 cup milk
marshmallows
Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar, shortening, egg, and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Drop by spoonfuls and bake at 350º until done. Remove from oven and put whole or half marshmallow on top of each cookie. Replace in oven for one minute. Frost with chocolate frosting while still warm. Place half walnut on top if desired.
