1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 can Eagle© brand sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/4 c. cake and pastry or all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Beat in egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add liquid. Beat until smooth. Divide into thirds. Wrap in waxed paper and chill in refrigerator until firm. Roll each portion on floured surface to 1/8" thickness. Cut out with cookie cutters and bake on greased sheet at 300ºF for 5 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool on rack. Ice with lemon icing: 1-1/2 cup sifted icing sugar, 2 tbsp. water and 1 tsp. lemon juice.
