5 old Rolls or 1 loaf of French Bread
4 Eggs
100 g Butter (almost 1 stick)
150 g sugar (½ cup)
125 g crushed Almonds (little less than a cup)
2 teaspoons of Schnaps or Rum
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon crushed cloves
A little vanilla is also good
1 tablespoon sugar
2 pounds of pitted dark red cherries

Bread (leave sitting out a day or two).

Beat eggwhites foamy.

Beat Butter foamy.

Mix ingredients together and add eggwhites to prepare dough.

Add 1 tablespoon sugar to 2 pounds of pitted dark red cherries, then mix with dough.

Cover cake sheet with butter or other non-stick product.

Bake approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325.
