10 slices of bread
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cinnamon
1/3 c. raisins
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º Butter 1/2 quart casserole. Toast bread Lightly spread with butter. Cut crust, then cut slices into cubes. Arrange cubes in single layer in casserole. Sprnkle with raisins. Blend eggs, sugar vanilla and salt, then add milk slowly. Place casserole in very hot water (1" deep) Bake 65 to 70 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Remove casserole from water serve warm or cold

Icing:

1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tbsp. rum extract

mix well pour over bread pudding and serve warm.
