4 cups water
1 cup quick cooking grits, uncooked
2 cups grated cheese
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 beaten egg
1 pound sausage, cooked and drained
1 cup grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to boil in large saucepan and stir in grits. Cover, reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 2 cups cheese then milk, butter, Worcestershire and garlic salt. Mix. Add in eggs and mix. Layer in dish the grits and sausage. Cover and chill overnight. Let come to room temperature and bake uncovered at 350º for 40 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.
