1 bag pf Taylor's home grown cherries
1 young man from Milford, Utah (Tom Walker)
Slowly add to mouth (about two hours).
Let set for three hours.

Many years ago, I took a bag of our famous home grown cherries down to Tom at Bryce Canyon. He so loved to come up to our house during the cherries season. we would climb up in the trees and just gorge ourselves. (Dick and Mike were there too.)
Anyway, years ago, in the 70's as a family we were going to Bryce Canyon to camp. Tom had made arrangements for us to stay in one of the cabins there. He was the manager back then. The arrangements were just superb, Tom always did things just right. Later that evening I went over to his cabin to talk with him. I did bring over the bag of hand picked cherries, we talked for over an hour, all the time he was popping in cherries. I told him to slow down, that they might make him sick. So he put them in the fridge. Later that night he got up and had the rest of the bag. The next day as we were leaving I stopped in at his office to thank him and say good-by. I was informed that Mr. Walker was sick for the day and was not coming into work. So I went over to his cabin and knocked on the door. From inside came a weak voice saying"I can't believe I ate the whole thing". Tom and I have had a good laugh about it many times, and I know he wouldn't mind me sharing this with the "Whole Family".
