1 cup of loosely packed brown
sugar
3/4 cup shortening
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat or white
flour, or mixed
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 tbs cinnamon
1 cup bananas, mashed,
2 large ones of 3 small ones
1 3/4 cup oatmeal
raisins, choco chips, nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, shortening, vanilla,eggs, evap milk well.
Combine dry ingredients together and add to above. Mix well together. Add mashed bananas, oatmeal, raisins or chocolate chips. Add nuts, if desired. Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool on cookie racks.
