A village of many. That is what I think of Mrs.. Hick. She was always the other mother to all of us kid in the pearl street neighborhood. During hot summer days she would sit by the pool so we kids could cool off by the pool. By the time 3:00 would come we would hover around the tv with her to watch General Hospital. Making tents in her back yard was the best but for me making the grape jelly with her and doing arts and crafts was my favorite. When the other kids got bored it was me and Mrs. Hick who finished the projects. One day we turned her cellar into a kitchen and we started our very own catering business called Parties Plus. That was the beginning of it all......Thanks Mrs. Hick you gave me the courage to make mistakes and learn that it is better to give a little more than a little less.
