1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg slightly beaten
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil
1 il. zucchini cut into 3-4 inch sticks (1/4's)
oil for deep frying

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Combine egg, milk, and 2 tbsp. of oil. Add the two mixtures together, beat until smooth. Pat zucchini sticks dry. Dip them one at a time into the batter and then deep fry in oil that is heated to 375º, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt if desired.
