3-4 lb Beef or Pork Roast
Large Sweet Onion - cut into quarters
6 russet potatoes-washed & cut in half length wise
1 small package baby peeled carrots
1 envelope onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
Place Onion, potatoes and carrots in bottom of large crockpot. Brown roast in butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Be sure to sear both sides and edges around the roast. This helps keep the flavors in and the roast moist. Place roast on top of veggies. Mix package of onion soup mix in 8-12 oz of water. Pour over the top of the roast allowing the dried onion to remain on top of the roast. Cook on low for 10 hours.
