2-3/4 cup flour,
1 tsp. baking soda,
2/3 cup shortening,
1/2 cup soft butter,
1tbsp cinnamon,
2 tsp. cream of tartar,
1/2 tsp. salt,
1-1/2 cup white sugar,

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix 2 tbsp. of cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Now, mix all the ingredients together. This is something that will give you muscles...lol.
2. When you are done, roll each cookies into a 1 inch ball, swirl them in the cinnamon bowl and place them on a greased cookie sheet.
3. You may use a fork to press each cookie down some. Then place in oven at 350º 19 to 22 minutes!

My favorite neighbor made this for us while we all ran around stealing her cookie dough! Now, I have 2 kids and the same thing is happening to me...lol
